20 marathons in 20 days - Thanks

If you want to run fast run alone, if you want to run far run together"
~African Proverb

When I finished on Saturday I was overwhelmed with emotion. Something I had obsessed over, dreamed about, and diligently planned out for 5 years had become a reality.

It's taken a few days to unplug and think about it all, but I wanted to say thanks and also share a few thoughts.

SPONSORS

Thanks so much to the NRMA for your continued support, NRMA Parks & Resorts for our accommodation along the route and Thrifty for our support vehicle. I can't thank you enough for going above and beyond for this.

A massive thanks to Vodafone for your support and your donation through the Vodafone Foundation.

Thanks to Mark and Peter from the Body Mechanic for your coaching and fixing me up.

A massive thanks to Roger and Michelle at Hoka for the shoes, Mike at Pure Running for my kit, and Darryl at Koda for my nutrition.

A massive thanks to Lukasz at Recovery Zone for the compression boots and the team at Zero Beer for giving me a guilt free treat each day.

And thanks to Canada Bay Club for your support back in the community.

COMMUNITY

Thanks to everyone who ran with me and the 255 people who ran, walk and crawled virtually with me as part of the virtual challenge. And thanks for all your messages and phone calls. Even though I was out there on my own a lot I never felt alone.

DONATIONS

Thanks to everyone who donated. I'm still waiting for one to come through but we've raised close to $24k. If we add this to the $12k from the last challenge thats $36k going back into the community to run mental fitness workshops that will positively impact 1000 people.

SPECIAL THANKS

Thanks to my Mum, Dad, and Sister for all your love, support and guidance over the years.

A special thanks to Cindy, Gab, Mel, Luca, Keith for all your support leading up to this, and to Frank for watching over me.

And last but not least a massive massive thanks to Vicki and my legendary support crew, in this adventure and in life.

Big love

Mark
